The young actor Vijay Deverakonda who has impressed the audience with his choice of films, has been approached by the makers of upcoming much-awaited movie Thalaivi, the biopic of late Chief Minister of Tamilnadu J Jayalalitha in which bold and beautiful actress Kangana Ranaut is playing the titular role. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers are planning to rope Vijay Deverakonda in Thalaivi to play the role of Shoban Babu in Kangana Ranaut starrer.
It is known the news that Vijay Deverakonda did a cameo in Nag Ashwin’ directorial venture Mahanati, the movie based on the life of South Indian legendary actress Savitri where Keerthy Suresh played the lead role. Vijay Deverakonda was also trolled on social media when he described Keerthy Suresh as a “chick” but the actor said that he would not apologize to anybody.
Priyamani has been brought on board to play the Controversial role of Sasikala, the CM Jayalalithaa’ close aide. AL Vijay felt that the National Award-winning actress Priyamani would be an apt choice to play the part. He felt that Priyamani could do full justice. Priyamani is the latest addition of Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi.
Producer Vishnu Induri is making Thalaivi, the biopic of Jayalalithaa in three languages -Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, so he needed an actress with a pan-Indian appeal. That is the main reason, they brought Priyamani on the board to essay the role of Sasikala and now he is planning to rope Vijay Deverakonda to play Shoban Babu.
Now we have to wait and see whether Vijay Deverakonda will give nod to Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi or not.
On the other side, Vijay Deverakonda is working with Kranthi Madhav for World Famous Lover, which will hit the theaters on 14th February 2020. In the month of January, he will start the shoot of Fighter in the direction of Puri Jagannadh.
