Balakrishna is currently working with Krish for the next upcoming film- NTR biopic, which has been titled as Kathanayakudu. We have already reported the makers are canning the scenes of 1977 Diviseema flood that killed over 14,204 people, and NTR with ANR collected the funds over Rs 13 lakhs to rehabilitate the Diviseema flood victims. Now a pic, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna is seen riding a rickshaw is going viral on the social media sites.  Currently the makers are canning a scene in which Balayya is driving a rickshaw to collect the funds. The shoot is going on near Repalle Railway Station, Padmavathi Theatre road, Court constructed under the British regime and Tehsildar office premises.

Diviseema Cyclone in 1977 was one of the biggest disasters in Andhra Pradesh and entire Tollywood came in support of flood victims by raising funds. When Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), ANR, Savitri and few others had gone to visit the flood affected areas, fans of NTR garlanded him. Then, NTR put the garland up for auction to raise the funds.

 Sumanth is playing ANR ( Akkineni Nageswara Rao) and Balakrishna is playing the role of his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in NTR biopic, which is bankrolled by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati Ranganatha and Vishnu Induri under NBK Films.

Rana Daggubati is playing the role of Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Manjima Mohan will be seen as Nara Bhuvaneswari, Himmansi Chowdary as Daggubati Purandeswari, Bharath Reddy as Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, Sachin Khedekar as N. Bhaskara Rao (Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh), Nithya Menen as Savitri, Rakul Preet Singh as Sridevi, Kaikala Satyanarayana as H.M. Reddy, Prakash Raj as Nagi Reddy, Naresh as B. A. Subba Rao,Murali Sharma as Aluri Chakrapani, Jisshu Sengupta as L.V. Prasad, Sanjay Reddy as Pingali Nagendra Rao , Ravi Kishan as Ravikant Nagaich.
