Geetha Govindam starring young and energetic actor Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has completed 50 days run in 59 centers and is still running successfully.
Parasuram’s directorial venture, the romantic and comedy entertainer Geetha Govindam has scored a blockbuster at the Box Office by completing its 50-days run. The movie is produced by Bunny Vas under the banner of GA2 Pictures. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Subbaraju, Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore, Naga Babu, and Mouryani in supporting roles. Geetha Govindam was released on 15th August 2018 on the occasion of Independence day, in a very grand manner. Vijay Devarakonda starrer received highly positive reviews from critics and became a blockbuster at the box office.
Few scenes from Geetha Govindam were leaked on the internet before the release of the movie, that played havoc with the movie industry. When Vijay Devarakonda was asked about the leakage, he said, “ When I came to know our film Geetha Govindam was leaked online, it was extremely hurtful. A bunch of people are playing havoc with the entertainment industry.”
Geetha Govindam is made on the budget of Rs 6 Cr whereas the movie has earned Rs 125 Cr.
Meanwhile Vijay Devarakonda is waiting for the release of his next upcoming bilingual drama Tamil- Telugu movie NOTA, which is arriving at the theaters on 5thOctober.
