‘DevaDas‘ starring Nagarjuna Akkineni and Nani in the lead roles, has entered second week and is running successfully at the box office.
On this note, hero Nagarjuna has talked to the media and speaking he said, “Wasn’t here when ‘DevaDas’ released. Spent a holiday with family for a week. Coming to the movie, glad that it grossed Rs 41 crore in just a week and the second week is going to be good as well. Thanks to Nani and he performed extraordinarily as Dr. Das. Now he is on a vacation and hope he is having fun. Director Sriram Adittya has a great future and producer Ashwini Dutt’s passion for films is just the same when I worked with him for ‘Aakari Poratam.’ Recently Vyjayathi Movies banner has completed 45 years and now Dutt garu has his daughters as pillars of support. Also thanks to our cinematographer, Sham for his outstanding work. He showed me stylishly in the role of Deva. To the heroines, music composer Mani Sharma garu and to the entire team. Last but not least thanks to the media. September and October months have been great for me and my family. Still can’t believe ‘Shiva’ has completed 29 years and my one more film ‘Ninne Pelladutha’ was a sensational hit then. It collected Rs 1 crore from Devi theatre and created a record.”
