Nani is going to become farmer for his next upcoming film, say sources. There are number of Telugu actors like Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj and others, who are also farmers in their real life. Prakash Raj has farm near Mahabalipuram, and a farm each in Hyderabad and Kodaikanal. Pawan Kalyan is said to be a self-taught farmer. He grows mangoes, tomatoes, and other vegetables on his farm. It is also heard that he likes to work on everything by himself, including ploughing the land. It is learnt that Jana Sena Chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan uses renowned agriculturalist Subash Palekar’s zero budget spiritual farming techniques. There are also few actors, who have played the role of farmer on the screen. Now according to the latest update, Natural Star Nani, who has delivered a series of hit movie, is not going to turn a farmer for his next upcoming movie.
The sources close to Nani, reveal that Nani has given green signal for a rural entertainer, which is based on the farming. Recently the director Kishorudu, who has made few popular short movies in past, met Nani and narrated the storyline. Nani who is very impressed with his character, has given nod for this village based drama, which will be produced under the banner of 14 Reels Plus banner.
It is known news that Nani has already signed sport based drama Jersey, which is currently in pre-production stage. Kannada beauty and U Turn fame Shraddha Srinath and Reba Monica John are on the board to play the female lead role. Jersey will be helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. The sources say that Nani will be seen playing dual role- father and son.
Nani was last seen in Sriram Adittya’s directorial venture Devadas, in which Rashmika Mandanna and Akkineni Nagarjuna also played the lead role.
