Pawan Kalyan, the Jana Sena President dared Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to hold elections for panchayat raj bodies immediately. On Monday, Pawan Kalyan led a historic march with the participation of a large number of party supporters on Sir Arthur Cotton barrage across the Godavari River starting from Pichuka Lanka to Dowleswaram. He fired on AP CM and said, “Chandrababu Naidu are scared of defeat. Even YSR Congress party president Jaganmohan Reddy is scared of defeat but I am not scared. I will face the polls and prove my strength.”
Pawan Kalyan also targeted Chandrababu Naidu’s son and minister for panchayat raj, Nara Lokesh, and wondered as to what he knew about panchayat raj and the development of infrastructure in villages. He also questioned Chandrababu Naidu, why did he allot Panchayat Raj portfolio to Nara Lokesh who does not have any knowledge on Panchayat Raj system.
Pawan Kalyan said, “The people can inherit the physical features and DNA but not the political power.”He advised Nara Lokesh to acquire the skills of governance so that he can inherit the political power from his father.
Pawan Kalyan asked Chandrababu Naidu to come forward to visit Delhi and fight with the Centre to get what was due for Andra Pradesh.
Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan questioned the government about the Mission 2020 scheme which is aimed to provide two cr jobs to the people.
Pawan Kalyan also spoke about his background and said, “My great grandfather worked as municif, grandfather was a postman, whereas my father worked as a police constable.” He asked why it was not possible for him to become the CM of the state.
The Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan promised to create jobs in the state if voted to power.
The Godavari belt is the hotbed of Andhra Pradesh politics. It is the stranglehold of numerically strong Kapu community.
