Ramya Krishna into the shoes of Nadhiya

Ramya Krishna into the shoes of NadhiyaRamya Krishna has been roped in Tamil remake of Telugu hit movie Attarintiki Daredi in which Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Samantha Akkineni played the lead roles whereas Boman Irani, Pranitha Subhash, Nadhiya and Rao Ramesh played the supporting role. According to the latest update, Ramya Krishna will play the role of Attha in Tamil remake. In the original version of Attarintiki Daredi, Nadiya played the role of Attha.

The  Tamil remake rights of Attarintiki Daredi were bought by Lyca Productions in July this year. On 30th July, Lyca Production tweeted, “We are very happy to announce that we have acquired the Tamil Remake Rights of the Mega Telugu Blockbuster #AttarintikiDaredi ! More exciting updates on this Coming Up! Big Thank You to #TrivikramGaru.”  Released in 2013, Attarintiki Daredi is the last known blockbuster in Pawan Kalyan’s filmy career. The movie is all about the story of  a grandson, played by Pawan Kalyan, who promises to his grandfather to help him reconcile his relationship with his estranged daughter. Soon after the release of the film, rumours made the rounds that Vijay might act in it’s Tamil remake. However, the project finally took off with Simbu.

Pawan Kalyan starrer Attarintiki Daredi was written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and it became the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time until it was bested by director SS Rajamouli’s historic drama Baahubali: The Beginning (2015).

Currently the shoot of Tamil remake of Attarintiki Daredi remake is going on in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad  in the direction of Sunder C.

Ramya Krishna  was last seen in Naga Chaitanya and Anu Emmanuel starrer family drama Shailaja Reddy Alludu where she essayed the role of Attha. She  is currently highest paid character actress in South Indian film Industry.

 Earlier there was speculation that Khusbhoo will play the role of Nadhiya but finally the makers brought Baahubali fame Ramya Krishna on the board.
