Samantha Akkineni’s reply about 96 Telugu remake is giving shock to her fans. It is known news that Dil Raju has acquired the Telugu remake rights of Trisha Krishnan starrer 96. Earlier it was heard that Samantha and Natural Star Nani are going to team up for the remake of Tamil movie 96 in which Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha played the lead role. The movie is directed by C. Prem Kumar who earlier handled the cinematography for Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, and it is bankrolled by Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises. Trisha Krishnan played the role of Janaki Devi aka Jaanu in 96. There was a buzz that Samantha will play the role of Jaanu (Trisha Krishnan) in this remake. Recently when one of Samantha’s fan asked her about 96 remake, the actress gave a bold reply: Shouldn’t be remade.
