U Turn Collections: Samantha Akkineni who has delivered three hit movies- Rangasthalam, Mahanati and Abhimanyudu this year (2018) came up with women centric movie U Turn, the murder mystery drama, to impress the audiences. U Turn, the bilingual Tamil and Telugu movie was released on 13th September 2018, in a very grand manner and also received positive response on its opening day but unfortunately the movie has turned out disaster at the box office. U Turn, directed by Pawn Kaumar, in which Samantha Akkineni played the role of journalist, has completed it’s run and has collected Rs 6.52 Cr shares at the Worldwide box office.

Ceeded : Rs 49 Lakhs
UA : Rs 70 Lakhs
East : Rs 35 Lakhs
West : Rs 29 Lakhs

This is the first disaster movie, which is delivered by Samantha Akkineni this year. U Turn is remake of Kannada hit movie in which Shraddha Srinath played the lead role.
Apart from Samantha, U Turn has other stars like Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ravindran in supporting roles. U Turn competed with Samantha’s husband Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Ramya Krishna and Anu Emmanuel starrer romantic and family entertainer Shailaja Reddy Alludu at the box office which was also released on the same day.
Currently Akkineni family is enjoying their holiday in abroad. After coming back to city Samantha and Naga Chaitanya will start the shoot of their next project.
