According to Baahubali fame Ramya Krishna, she took 37 takes for a scene and the makers shot it in 2 days. Vijay Sethupathi is playing the lead role and will make his screen presence as transgender whereas Samantha Akkineni is playing the female lead. Super Deluxe is expected to hit the theaters on 29th March. Ramya Krishnan who is essaying the role of p*rn star Leela, interacted with media and talked out her role. She admits that to play a p*rn actress was most challenging in her career. One scene in particular a single take shot, went up to 37 takes over two days.
Ramya Krishna added her upcoming movie Super Deluxe is more about the content than the actors.
Thiagarajan Kumararaja said, “Ramya Krishnan was an odd person to play the role of the p*rn star in the film within the film, Mallu Uncut. We had initially approached Nadiya for the role of p*rn star, Ramya Krishna was very cool, and the actress probably felt that she was pushing herself out of her comfort zone. I took 100 to 150 takes for the several scenes.”
Apart from Samantha, Ramya Krishna and Vijay Sethupathi, the upcoming film Super Deluxe has other stars like Mysskin, Gayathrie, Naveen, Abdul Jabbar, Vijay Ram, and Bagavathi Perumal in supporting roles.
