According to the latest buzz, Ajay Devgan was approached for Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ at the same time when Rajamouli offered him RRR. And Total Dhamal actor preferred Rajamouli’ RRR.
Earlier it was heard that, Ajay Devgn was offered a role of Villain in Indian 2, due to which he refused to work from the film. But now it has been cleared that Ajay Devgn preferred Rajamouli over Shankar. According to Ajay Devgn, he is open to roles that have various shades. He said that he liked to work in films like ‘Khaki’, ‘Company’ in which his negative characters were praised. When Ajay Devgn was asked the main reason for leaving Indian 2, he said that he would be happy to be a part of Shankar’ film but the problem is that he does not have the dates that he does not have.
In Rajamouli’ RRR, Ajay Devgn will be seen playing a crucial role in flashback episode. Yesterday during the press meet of RRR, Rajamouli has confirmed the inclusion of Ali Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in his upcoming directorial venture in which Jr NTR and Ram Charan are playing the lead roles.
Sharing details about the story of RRR, Rajamouli stated that RRR is set in the pre-Independence era. RRR is a fictional tale about two warriors Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan essays the younger version of Alluri Seetharamaraja whereas Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem. Alia Bhatt is paired opposite Ram Charan whereas Daisy Edgar Jones is paired opposite Ram Charan.
Currently Ajay Devgn is busy in his upcoming movie Tanaji.
