
Vijay Deverakonda has himself confirmed this news by sharing a poster on his Twitter and wrote, “Telugu Tamil Malayalam Kannada Comrades – are we ready? The 17th of March.”
Dear Comrade is expected to hit screens on 22nd May. This means that the film will also have a simultaneous release in the above four South Indian languages.
Written and directed by Bharat Kamma, Vijay Deverakonda is playing the role of a student leader. He will deliver dialogues in Andhra slang whereas Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the role of a cricketer. Touted to be an emotional drama, ‘Dear Comrade’ comes up with the tagline ‘Fight For What You Love.’
Vijay Deverakonda starrer Dear Comrade is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, who have bankrolled a number of super-hit films such as Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Rangasthalam. The film is to be co-produced by Yash Ragineni of Big Ben Cinemas. It has the music by Justin Prabhakaran.
