Divyavani creates one more hurdle for Lakshmi’s NTR

TDP leader and former actress Divyavani has created one more hurdle for Lakshmi’s NTR as she has appealed AP CEO Dwivedi to take necessary action after watching Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’ upcoming directorial venture. TDP leader Divyavani has presented a representation to the state CEO and complained about the allegation made against current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu in the film Lakshmi’s NTR and showcasing him as a villain.

Divyavani has approached the election commission (EC) and filed the complaint. Though Ram Gopal Varma is say that he will show the dark truth of in the life of NTR whereas Divyavani is saying that there is no truth in this upcoming film Lakshmi’s NTR.

Divyavani also said, “There is a rule in the election code that no biopics should get released during the election time.” During the media interaction, Divyavani and TDP Leaders faulted the alleged role of Lakshmi Parvati in the life of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.  Not only this Divyavani has also faulted YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s friendly terms with Telangana Chief Minister KCR.

Lakshmi’s NTR has already completed the censor formalities and gearing up for release on 29th March. Currently Ram Gopal Varma is busy in the promotional activities. Lakshmi’s NTR is a controversial political biopic, based on the life of former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao. The movie is inspired from the book written by his second wife Lakshmi Parvathi. Since the movie is released weeks before assembly elections in the state, the CBFC delayed the censorship with the pretext of Model Code of Conduct.

Divyavani shot to fame with Bapu’s films ‘Pelli Pustakam’ and ‘Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam’. In the month of January this year, she joined TDP (Telugu Desam Party).
