Ram Charan and Samantha starrer village based drama Rangasthalam set in the 80s charts the journey of Chitti Babu, essayed by Ram Charan, and his brother Kumar Babu, played by Aadhi Pinisetty’s fight against the President of their village, essayed by Jagapathi Babu. This was the first time when Ram Charan and Samantha worked together for a movie.
Rangasthalam has created sensational records at the box office and now it is getting ready to rule at Kannada box office. If Rangasthalam becomes a hit, then there are the chances that a couple of other movies will get released in Kannada.
Rangasthalam, the period action drama film directed by Sukumar and produced by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers, was released on 30th March 2018 and turned out Non Baahubali hit at the box office. Rangsathalam impressed the movie lovers with its emotional content, outstanding characterization and performances by lead actors and rich production values.
Ram Charan was last seen in Boyapati Srinu’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama, directed by Boyapati Srinu, which ended up disaster at the box office. On the otherside, currently Ram Charan is working with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming big budget RRR that also features Jr NTR whereas Samantha Akkineni will be next seen in Majili.
Samantha is also the part of Mr Granny, which is being directed by Nandini Reddy. She will also be seen in 96 remake.
