Maharshi Postponed yet again! Mahesh Babu film gets new release date

Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer Maharshi is one of the most awaited movie of this summer. The movie has been postponed again.The makers of Maharshi has made official announcement regarding its release date.  Maharshi was supposed to hit the theaters on 25th April and now it will be released on 9th May 2019.

 Dil Raju, one of the producer of Mahesh Bbau starrer Maharshi has confirmed this news by sharing a post on Twitter. The production house Sri Venkateswara Creations tweeted, “#Maharshi in theaters near you on May 9th 2019. #మహర్షిమే9నవిడుదల #MaharshiOnMay9th @urstrulyMahesh @directorvamshi @hegdepooja @allarinaresh @ThisIsDSP @kumohanan1.”

It is rumored that the makers of Maharshi haven’t wrapped up the shooting yet. Vamsi Paidipally is taking his own time to complete the shoot.  The sources  close to film unit reveal that he is planning to wrap the entire shoot by 16th April and later the post production work will be started.

Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sai Kumar and Jayasudha are playing the supporting roles.  The movie is produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema.

Mahesh Babu is playing  the role of Rishi. Maharshi is all about the story of Rishi who comes back to his hometown after hearing the problems faced by the farmers. Allari Naresh is playing his friend. The sources say that a scene in which Rishi addresses the media, is said to be the highlight of the film.
