Naresh, Rajasekhar & Jeevitha win MAA Elections 2019

Naresh panel has won the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) elections 2019. The Panel was supported by popular actors like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu. Naresh emerged as winner with more number of votes for President post whereas Sivaji Raja contested as opponet.  Dr Rajasekhar won against Srikanth, as Executive Vice President whereas Jeevitha won over Raghubabu, for General Secretary seat.

Sivaji Raja and Naresh panels tried their best to seek support from Telugu bigwigs and promised many things to attract the voters. Finally in Movie Artistes Association (MAA) elections 2019-21, Naresh, Jeevitha and Rajasekhar alliance won over the Sivaji Raja Panel.

 MAA was in the news headlines when the controversial Telugu actress Sri Reddy started her protest against the casting couch in Telugu Film Industry and stripped in front of MAA office. MAA president Sivaji Raja completely mishandled this situation and he rejected her application for the membership in the association.
