Pawan Kalyan to contests from 2 seats, Jana Sena third list releasedJana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan has made official announcement that he is going to contest from two assembly constituencies. There were a lot of speculations going on about Pawan Kalyan’s seat. He  himself confirmed that, he will be contesting from two places.

As per latest report,  Pawan Kalyan will contest from two constituencies- Gajuwaka assembly constituency which falls in the suburbs of Vishakapatnam city and Pithapuram in East Godavari district. Gajuwaka is a bustling place of industries. As the actor turned politician is contesting from ‘backward Uttarandhra region’, it would help Pawan get political mileage besides other ‘factors’ also come in handy for him.

Pawan Kalyan wrote on Twitter, “General body is in their final discussion from which two constituencies, I should be contesting. Hopefully, they will let me know in an hour or later”.

This is the first time that Power Star Pawan Kalyan is entering the battle of polls though he campaigned for his brother Megastar Chiranjeevi’s party Prajarajyam in 2009 and for TDP – BJP combine in 2014.

Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party has forged an alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Left parties in Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan has said his party had also given 21 assembly seats to BSP in Andhra Pradesh where simultaneous elections to the state will also be held on 11th April whereas CPI and CPM will contest in 14 assembly seats together.

On Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan’ Jana Sena party made announcement about the  candidates for one more Lok Sabha seat and 13 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. Bellamkonda Saibaba will contest from Ongole parliamentary constituency.
