Purandeswari to contest from Vizag

BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has announced the candidates for Lok Sabha elections 2019. Former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari will contest for the Vizag Parliament whereas AP BJP President Kanna Lakshmi Narayana will contest from Narsaraopet constituency.

Daggubati Purandeswari and BJP state unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana are the only two candidates whose names BJP announced in its first list Thursday for 11th April Lok Sabha election in Andhra Pradesh. Daggubati Purandeswari will contest from Visakhapatnam on the BJP ticket, a seat she won in 2009 as a Congress nominee, while Kanna Lakshminarayana will be contesting the Lok Sabha poll for the first time from Narsaraopeta.
