Rajamouli to pick Ravi Teja or Akshay Kumar?

SS Rajamouli, who has delivered number of hit movies in his filmy career, is currently working with Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR alias Jr YS Rama Rao. Earlier it was heard that after wrapping up the shoot of RRR, Rajamouli will start to work with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. But it seems Baahubali film maker is not willing to work with Mahesh Babu as he is planning to make a bilingual Telugu- Hindi drama. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Rajamouli has decided to make sequel of Vikramarkudu. The movie was also remade in Bollwyood  as Rowdy Rathore. In Vikramarkudu, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja played the lead role whereas in its Hindi version Rowdy Rathore, Akshay Kumar reprised the role of Ravi Teja. Now we have to wait and see, who will play the lead role in its sequel Ravi Teja or Akshay Kumar?

Rajamouli is said to have signed a deal with a Bollywood movie house in this connection (Vikramarkudu sequel). The sources say that Rajamouli is planning to make a sequel with a Bollywood star in the lead.

Vikramarkudu, directed by Rajamouli, was released in 2006, in which Anushka Shetty played the love interest of Ravi Teja. The action entertainer was remade in in Tamil as Siruthai, in Hindi as Rowdy Rathore, and in  Kannada as Veera Madakari.

Ravi Teja was last seen in Amar Akbar Anthony, directed by Srinu Vaitla, in which Goa beauty Ileana D Cruz played the female lead. The movie was ended up commercially flop at the box office. Currently Ravi Teja is busy in his upcoming movie Disco Raja.

 On the otherside, Akshay Kumar made his South debut with Shankar’s directorial venture 2.0 starring Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson.

 It was also heard that Rajamouli was planning to rope Akshay Kumar in RRR to play the crucial role but he rejected the offer because of his busy shoot schedule.

 Akshay Kumar is currently busy in his upcoming project Kesari.
