Ram Pothineni next is Thadam remake?

If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni will be next seen in upcoming Telugu movie, the remake of Tamil movie Thadam. Veteran producer Sravanthi Ravikishore has brought the remake rights of Thadam recently and now he is planning to make the movie with Ram Pothineni. The makers are planning to make few changes in the script according to the taste of Telugu audiences. The details regarding director, cast and crew will be announced very soon.

Thadam is a crime thriller film written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Inder Kumar, in which  Arun Vijay, Smruthi Venkat, Tanya Hope, and Vidya Pradeep played the lead roles.  If everything will go as per plan, Ram Pothineni will be seen reprising the role of Arun Vijay.

Ram Pothineni is a nephew of producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. He made his film debut in 2006 with the masala flick Devadasu, which became a blockbuster at the box office. He was last seen in Trinadha Rao Nakkina’ directorial venture Hello Guru Prema Kosame, which was also decent hit at the box office.

 Currently Ram Pothineni is working with Puri Jagannadh for upcoming action entertainer iSmrat Shankar. Nidhhi Agerwal is playing the female lead and she will make her screen presence as scientist. Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur are bankrolling entertainer iSmrat Shankar together under the banner Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies  in association with Puri Connects.
