Renu Desai : Mindless people are trying to make controversy

The speculations are rife that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has hired Renu Desai (the ex-wife of Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan) as an anchor for his popular Telugu news channel’s new TV show to beat his political opponents Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu. It has also come out that Renu Desai might be fielded by the YSRCP in the coming elections.  It was speculated that the YSRCP leader might have planned to shoot two birds with one stone.  So Renu Desai may also contest the upcoming assembly elections from Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP).

The new show will be about the problems faced by the farmers’ families in Andhra Pradesh. Renu Desai will be seen talking to farmers in this show. The sources say that recently Renu Desai, shot its first episode in Kurnool, while her ex-husband Pawan Kalyan, who is chief of Jana Sena Party, was touring in a nearby village at the same time. Since then, Pawan Kalyan’ fans started to troll Renu Desai. Few of them even abused Renu Desai for joining hands with a popular Telugu news channel to target Pawan Kalyan.

Finally, Renu said that she visited Kurnool to meet the villagers as part of her documentary. Renu Desai also clarified that mindless people are trying to make a controversy.

After her divorce from Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai left acting and tried to test her luck as director. She made her debut as director with  a Marathi movie Ishq Wala Love, which was released in 2014, the movie also marked her entry as a producer in film industry. Unfortunately the movie was bombed at the box office. Renu Desai also debuted into the small screen as a judge of celebrity dance reality show Neethoney Dance.
