Today at the press meet, Ram Charan said, “RRR has a fictional story based on real-life characters. I will be seen as the younger version of Alluri Seetharama Raju.”
RRR is based on real heroes Alluri Seetha Rama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR). Set in 1920’s, RRR is all about the story of both of them away from Home (in Delhi) before they started fighting for the country.
In 1897 Alluri Seetharama Raju ( Ram Charan) is born. After few years, he leaves his home and after coming back he starts fight for the welfare of tribals. And in 1901 Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR) born in Adilabad, Telangana and he too leaves his house in teens. And when he returns, starts fight against the oppression of Nizam. Both Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem lost their lives in their fight.
Again these two heroes meet in Delhi and they become friend. RRR is about the story of these heroes, how they meet.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is on the board to play the female lead whereas Ajay Devgn will be seen playing crucial role. RRR is directed by SS Rajamouli and is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment. The movie is slated to hit the theaters in 2020.
