Unexpected Reply for Mahesh Babu

Few days ago, there was a buzz in the film industry, the Anil Ravipudi wants to rope Kannada star Upendra in his upcoming untitled directorial venture in which Mahesh Babu will play the lead role. The sources say that Upendra was offered a part in Mahesh Babu’s new film to be directed by Anil Ravipudi, but he  has politely declined to come on board.  Upendra who has taken the political plunge, is planning to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and he has decided to not sign a film until the end of elections. That is the main reason, he has rejected Mahesh Babu starrer.  This unexpected reply by Upendra for Mahesh Babu is really giving shock to everyone.

 Kannada star Upendra was offered the antagonist’s role in Mahesh Babu film, which will be directed by Anil Ravipudi, who is basking in the glory of his recent offering F2 Fun and Frustration.  But Upendra has turned down the proposal owing to his political commitments. Currently he is preparing to contest in the upcoming elections as part of his Prajaakeeya party.

 Recently when Anil Ravipudi contacted Sai Pallavi to play the female lead, she also rejected the offer. And now it was Upendra’ turn to say no to Mahesh Babu.

Now the team is planning to roped Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.  If everything will go accordingly she will be seen playing the love interest of Mahesh Babu. It is also learnt that Vijayashanti was also approached for a crucial role, but she is yet to give her nod for the project. Mahesh Babu and Anil Ravipudi’ film will be produced by Anil Sunkara. The movie is expected  to go on the floor in the month of June.

 Currently Mahesh Babu is busy in his upcoming movie Maharshi, in which Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead and it is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th May.
