Nani Gang Leader gets release date

Nani, who is popular for his natural performance, is currently busy in his upcoming movie Gang Leader, which is being helmed by Vikram Kumar of Manam, 24 and Hello fame. According to the latest update, the makers have locked the release date of Gang Leader and the movie will hit the theaters on 30th August. We have already reported that Nani has injured himself recent during the shoot of Gang Leader and the doctor advised him to take rest for few days.

70% of the shoot has been already wrapped up. The filmmakers are planning to wrap up the schedules by 30th June. 30th August has been locked as the release date.

Gang Leader is being produced under the banner Mythri Movie Makers and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. Priyanka Arul Mohan is playing the leading lady in the film. Karthikeya of RX100 fame is playing the villain. Apart from them, Gang Leader also has Lakshmi, Priyadarshi, Raghubabu, Vennela Kishore, Saranya, Aneesh Kuruvilla, Jaija and Sathya in supporting roles.

Nani was last seen in the sports drama, Jersey. It was bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The movie was decent hit at the box office.
