Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani is the remake of Telugu blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy in which young actor Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey played the lead roles. Sandeep Redy Vanga, who helmed Arjun Reddy, has also helmed its remake Kabir Singh. The entire shoot of the movie has been wrapped up and the makers have also started the promotional activities. Recently during the media interaction, Sandeep Reddy Vanga opened up about Kabir Singh and said that he did not show the woman in derogatory way in Kabir Singh and there is no bum or cleavage shot.
According to Sandeep Reddy Vanga, he made few changes in the script according to the taste of Hindi audiences. When he was asked how he is going to handle the criticism that the movie promotes male chauvinism, he said, “This is not arrogance, but I genuinely do not bother about pseudo-feminists and pseudo-sympathisers. There is no bum or cleavage shot. I never asked my audiences to look at the girl’s body.”
Kabir Singh is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the movie will hit the theaters on 21st June. After delivering back to back commercially flop movies like Rangoon and Batti Gul Meter Chaalu, this time Shahid Kapoor is pinning lot of hopes on this upcoming film Kabir Singh.
