After a long gap of 13 years, Vijayashanti is making her comeback in Telugu film industry with an upcoming movie Sarileru Neekevvaru, in which Superstar Mahesh Babu will play the lead role and the movie will be helmed by Anil Ravipudi of Pataas and F2 Fun and Frustration fame. Mahesh Babu will be seen playing the role of Army major and it is heard that he will join the sets of Sarileru Neekevvaru on 1st July.
The sources close to Anil Ravipudi, revealed that Vijayashanti will appear as a powerful faction leader and will take on Jagapathi Babu in the film. It is heard that Vijayashanti, who is popular as lady superstar, will also perform action sequences. We have already reported that Vijayashanti has joined the gym and she is currently doing heavy workouts to get herself fit for the role offered to her. Vijayashanti was one of the leading actresses in the 1980s and 90s. She left her acting career to join politics and now, almost after a decade, she is making her big comeback
Rashmika Mandanna is on the board to play the female lead role in Sarileru Neekevvaru, which will be bankrolled by Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara. Devi Prasad is rendering the tune and the movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2020.
