It is known news that after delivering a super hit movie Venky Mama, Venkatesh Daggubati joined the sets of his next upcoming film Naarappa, which is a remake of Kollywood star Dhanush starrer Asuran. The movie Naarappa is being helmed by Sreekanth Addala and it has Priyamani in the female lead. She will be seen essaying the role of Venkatesh’ wife. Naarappa is being produced by D Suresh Babu and Kalaippuli S Thanu.  The  Cinematographer Shyam K Naidu is on the board, while Mani Sharma is the music composer. According to the latest update, the makers of Naarappa have started the post-production activities.

The makers have already wrapped up a lengthy schedule of Naarappa in Ananthapuram and parts of Tamilnadu before the lockdown was announced. The movie needs to complete another half the portion. However, Srikanth Addala has now decided to edit the film Naarappa whatever he shot to use this free time.

‘Naarappa’ was originally slated to hit the theaters in May 2020 but now it is expected that the movie will be out either by the end of this year or early next year.

Dhanush and Manju Warrier starrer revenge dramaAsuran, directed by Vetrimaaran was based on Poomani’s novel Vekkai.
