Punjabi Singer Diljaan, who rose to fame with reality Television show Sur Kshetra, singing talent show between teams of India and Pakistan, in the year 2012, was killed in a road accident. This incident took place on Tuesday morning. This tragedy has sent shockwaves and CM Amarinder Singh expressed shock at the death of the young singer Diljaan by saying that It is extremely sad to lose young lives like these on road.
The sources revealed that 31 Years old Singer Diljaan was traveling alone in his Mahindra KUV 100 car when it met with an accident on Amritsar-Jalandhar highway near Jandiala Guru town near Amritsar on Tuesday morning. Many prominent names from the Punjabi music and film industry mourned the young singer Diljaan’ death.
According to the Police, Diljaan was on his way from Kartarpur town near Jalandhar to Amritsar in his car when this accident took place at 2.30am. Diljaan, who belongs to Kartarpur, was found injured and he was taken to the nearby private hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. The Police sources said Diljaan’ car hit a truck which was parked near a bridge on the highway but some are saying that it hit the divider, too. The singer’ wife and children are in Canada.
