Bangarraju, a sequel to 2016 blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana is finally set to go on floors very soon. Nagarjuna starrer film Bangarraju will be directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. Sources in the know say that besides King Nagarjuna in the lead role, Bangarrraju will also have Akhil Akkineni. In Soggade Chinni Nayana, which released in 2016, Ramya Krishnan had shared screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna and she will be reprising the same role in the sequel as well. According to the latest buzz in the film industry Akhil Akkineni will be seen as Bangarraju’ grandson in the film.
Akhil will be seen in a cameo in the climax of Bangarrraju. Naga Chaitanya is playing the role of Nagarjuna’ son in the film. After the end of the first half, the story of Bangarrraju will introduce Naga Chaitanya and show Ramya Krishnan raising Akhil as an innocent kid.
In this horror and comedy drama Nagarjuna will romance Bollywood star heroine Sonakshi Sinha. It is being heard that she has given her greenlight for the film, which will be backed by Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios.
On the otherside, Nagarjuna was last seen in Wild Dog under the direction of Solomon which had Dia Mirza in the crucial role and it was just average at the box office.
