Power Star Pawan Kalyan was last seen playing the lead role in recently released court room drama Vakeel Saab, which was a remake of Hindi award winning movie Pink. It was helmed by Venu Sriram and was released last month. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Dil Raju first approached Nandamuri Balakrishna for Vakeel Saab but he rejected the movie and the role fell in the lap of Pawan Kalyan. It means, Pawan Kalyan accepted the movie Vakeel Saab, which was rejected by Balakrishna.
The sources revealed that when Balakrishna rejected Vakeel Saab, it was Trivikram Srinivas, who suggested the name of Power Star to Dil Raju. When the producer offered the role to Gabbar Singh star, he accepted it.
Vakeel Saab which is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, also has Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, Prakash Raj, and Shruthi Haasan in the crucial roles.
On the other side, Balakrishna will be seen playing the lead role in upcoming drama Akhanda which is being helmed by Vinaya Vidheya Rama fame Boyapati Sirnu. In this film Balayya Babu is sharing the screen space with Pragya Jaiswal and it also has Srikanth and Poorna in the crucial roles.
