
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao- KCR ruling out lockdown in Telangana, stepped up efforts to check the spread of novel coronavirus in the Telangana State. Telanagna CM KCR spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought immediate increase in oxygen, Remdesivir and vaccine allocations to the State in the wake of spurt in Coronavirus cases.
In a video conference with India’ Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister KCR urged PM to supply 500 MT of oxygen as 440 MT of oxygen is needed in the state Telangana every day. CM KCR also said, “ Lockdown is not the solution to check corona and the situation is under control in the state” He added that lockdown would affect revenues, businesses and deprive people of their daily income and their livelihood.
Chief Minister KCR stated that If the people denied work, it may lead to the food crisis, so there will be no lockdown in Telangana State. Lockdown would also affect industries and their workers.
CM KCR instructed the people not to panic as the Coronavirus cases are under control. The Coronavirus spread and cases are under control in Telangana as state government is focusing on intensifying steps to tackle this Coronavirus pandemic and ensure timely treatment and services to people above forty five years.
