The shooting for Om Raut much awaited directorial venture Adipurush kicked off in Mumbai a couple of months back but later the shoot was halted due to the restrictions in the city following the second wave of Coronavirus. The Prabhas starrer movie is a pan-India which is being made in multiple languages.
The big budget drama also stars Kriti Sanon as Goddess Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan as Raavana – Lakesh. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Kichcha Sudeep will also be seen playing a key role in Prabhas starrer Adipurush and will make his screen presence in the role of Vibhishana.
Meanwhile, during a recent interview, Kichcha Sudeep was asked about the rumors of him being roped in to play Vibhishana in Prabhas starrer film, to which he replied, ” The makers of Adipurush has contacted my manager but I have not met them yet personally. Though the discussions are going on, but it is too early to react on it.”
Kichcha Sudeep neither confirmed nor denied the reports of him being a part of Om Raut’ directorial venture, which is being jointly backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Prashant Sutar.
