Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role in an upcoming film Acharya, which also stars Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Sonu Sood and Kajal Aggarwal. Acharya is a social message oriented movie which is helmed by Koratala Siva of Janatha Garage fame. The movie was initially slated to hit the theaters on 13th May but later the makers dropped the plan due to the second wave of Coronavirus.
Acharya release has been postponed indefinitely. Now according to the latest report, the makers of Acharya have wrapped up the entire shoot of the film and only minor patchwork are left. Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan will completing their portion of Acharya soon after the conditions favor film shootings.
It is the second time that Kajal Aggarwal is paired with Chiranjeevi. She was part of Chiru’ comeback film Khaidi No 150 a few years ago. Ram Charan is playing a character called Sidha in the film, which has music by Mani Sharma.
Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy are jointly backing the film under Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment. The makers of this big budget multi-starrer are planning to release the film in August if the situation permits. After wrapping up the shoot of Acharya, Chiranjeevi will start the shoot of Lucifer remake.
