Anasuya Bharadwaj is a popular name in the entertainment industry. Now according to the latest report, the anchor turned actress Anasuya Bharadwaj’ father Sudharshan Rao Khasba, worked as a youth congress publicity secretary when Rajiv Gandhi was ruling the nation, passed away today morning. Her father was 63. He breathed his last today in Tarnaka, Hyderabad.
Sudharshan Rao Khasba was suffering from cancer for a long time. His sudden demise upset Anasuya Bharadwaj and her family members.
It is known that Anasuya has received two SIIMA Awards, an IIFA Utsavam Award and a Filmfare Award South for her performances in Kshanam and Rangasthalam.
After working as a news presenter, she worked as an anchor. She also worked as a dubbing artist for the movies Vedam and Paisa. Later she appeared as a TV anchor on Jabardasth, a comedy show that elevated her career. After this, she got an opportunity to act in Soggade Chinni Nayana in which Nagarjuna played the lead role. Later, in the same year, she made her debut with Kshanam in which she played the negative role. Currently she has a number of projects in her kitty and one of the them is pan Indian film Pushpa: The Rise which has Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
