Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are coming together with a sport based movie Liger which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Puri Jagannad. Now according to the latest report, today the makers are going to share an interesting update about this Liger at 10:03 am. The fans and the movie lovers are expecting that the team will release a poster or a video glimpse to announce the release date of Liger’s teaser. Let’s wait for the official announcement.
It is known that Mike Tyson has been brought on the board to play the crucial role in this much hyped Telugu and Hindi movie Liger. The big budget film is produced jointly bankrolled by Puri himself, Charmee Kaur and Karan Johar. It will feature Vijay Deverakonda as a mixed martial art fighter.
The upcoming film Liger marks Deverakonda’s Hindi debut and Ananya Panday‘s Telugu debut venture. Apart from the lead actors, the movie also has Vishu Reddy, Ronit Roy, Ramya Krishnan, Aali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu in key roles. The movie was slated to hit the theatres on 9th September this year.
However, it had to be postponed due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The makers are planning to wrap up an intense schedule in US and release the film in 2022.
