The film Skylab starring Nithya Menen and Satya Dev which was released yesterday on 4th December, has become the latest victim of the piracy as the movie has been leaked online. The piracy happened within a few hours of the theatrical release.
Skylab was leaked on several movie download websites like Tamilrockers and FilmyZilla along with a few piracy sites, torrents, and some Telegram channels who have uploaded the film’s download link, that too in full HD format. Currently Skylab is available for the free download. This online leak of the film Skylab in such a short time will surely frustrate the film makers. It will be interesting to see whether it affects Skylab box office numbers.
On this release day, the movie Skylab received a lukewarm response from the movie lovers. The prolonged narration and routine storyline were the major drawbacks of the film, while the actors’ performances were the highlights.
Skylab is Nithya Menen’s maiden production venture and she has joined hands with Prithvi Pinnamaraju of Byte Features to back the film. It is written and directed by debutant Vishvak Khanderao. Apart from Rahul Dev and Nithya Menen, the movie also has Rahul Ramakrishna, Tharun Bhascker, Tanikella Bharani, Vishnu, Tulasi and Subbaraya Sharma in the crucial roles.
