Skylab is an upcoming rural drama in which Satya Dev, Nithya Menen, and Rahul Ramakrishna are playing the lead roles. The movie was released yesterday on 4th December and received mixed response by the movie lovers on its release day. Now according to the latest report, Sony Liv has grabbed the OTT streaming rights of Nithya Menen starrer Skylab. It is being heard that the movie will be made available for streaming on Sony Liv four weeks post its theatrical release. The official confirmation regarding the streaming date is awaited.
The movie which explores the issues like untouchability, poverty and lack of medical facilities, is helmed by Vishvak Khanderao and he has also written the screenplay and dialogues. Aditya Javvadi handled the cinematography. Ravi Teja Girijala is the editor, Prashant R Vihari is the music director and Nagarjuna Thallapalli and Dhanush Nayanar are the sound designers.
The movie Skylab is set in the Andhra Pradesh village of the Banda Lingampally, the movie unfolds in the year 1979, when National Aeronautics and the Space Administration’s space station by the same name crashed on earth.
On the otherside, Nithya Menen is playing one of the female lead in an upcoming much hyped movie Bheemla Nayak which has Rana Daggubati and Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the lead role.
