 Kantara Box office Collections: Rishab Shetty’ film Kantara continues to achieve milestones on a daily basis. After the mammoth success of Yash starrer action drama  KGF Chapter 2, this film is once again making the Sandalwood industry proud with its performance. According to the latest update,  Kantara has collected Rs 372.56 Cr gross at the Worldwide box office after the successful run of 47 days.

The breakdown of the box office collections of Kantara is as follows:

Karnataka – Rs 176.40 Cr
Telugu States- Rs 51.60 Cr
Tamilnadu – Rs 9.76 Cr
Kerala – Rs 13.40 Cr
Hindi+ROI – Rs 93.70 Cr
Overseas – Rs 27.70 Cr
Total WW collection – Rs 372.56 Cr (Rs 188.90 Cr  Share)

Released on 30th September, Kantara has been in cinemas for over a month.  The movie has completed 47 days of theatrical run, yet there are no signs of slowing down. Kantara’s cast includes Kishore, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, and Naveen D Padil among others. The film is funded by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, the banner behind the KGF franchise. Currently Kantara is running in theatres in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. It is an action and thriller saga that celebrates the traditional culture of Kambla and Bhootha Kola.

The movie modestly opened with no big promotions, or grand scale events involving superstars.  The movie proves the power of strong word of mouth and interesting content. While Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is showing fabulous collections, Uunchai is also growing well with every passing show.  Now according to the latest report, Kantara has grossed $800,991 [Rs 6.50 Crs] from UAE box office till Nov 13th.

The Industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by sharing the collections figure of Kantara on his Twitter: At the #UAE Box office, till Nov 13th, #Kantara has grossed $800,991 [Rs 6.50 Crs].

Kantara, which translates to mystical forest, is all about the story of a local demigod – Bhoota, who trades  the forest land with a king in 1870 in exchange for happiness. Many years later, when king’s son grows greedy and wants the land back, he dies due to the wrath of Bhoota.
