Kantara Box office Collections: Rishab Shetty magnum opus Kantara is unstoppable! The film Kantara in which Rishab Shetty also played the lead role, has surpassed the Rs 300-crore mark worldwide in over a month, with the majority of the collection from the Kannada version. The movie Kantara has trumped all regional hits this year, becoming one of the most discussed movies of 2022. Apart from the original version, it is performing remarkably well in Hindi and Tamil. Made on a mere budget of less than Rs 16 crore, the film has emerged as one of the biggest earners of 2022 in India.
Rishab Shetty’ film has also shown a lot of growth in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Even though it took some time for the movie lovers there to warm up to this film, it now finds many takers. Karnataka remains Kantara’ biggest market to date. According to reports, the film has globally collected more than Rs 300 crore at the box office, with Rs 100 crore coming from Karnataka alone.
Recently Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth also watched the film and showered praises on it. Kabali star’ generous praise of Kantara added to the film’s momentum in the state. The movie also earlier received glowing reviews from other A-listers like Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Dhanush and Karthi.
