Sr NTR played the role of Lord Balaji in Sri Venkateswara Mahatmyam, which was released in 1960. It is a Telugu mythological film, based on Lord Venkateswara Avatar at Tirumala, directed by P. Pullaiah and produced by V. Venkateswarlu under the Padmasri Pictures banner. Savitri played the female lead in this film. It was dubbed into Tamil and released as Srinivasa Kalyanam.
Balakrishna starrer NTR – Kathanayakudu, directed by National award winning director Krish, has completed the censor formalities and received U Certificate from the regional censor board and it is gearing up for grand release on 9th January 2019 on the occasion of Sankranthi. Vidya Balan is playing the role of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam.
It is known news that apart from acting in NTR biopic, Nandamuri Balakrishna is also producing the film. But he is not seeking special shows or other benefits for this movie from Telangana government. NTR Biopic will run as usual with four shows. No premiere shows or paid previews are going to conducted.
According to the latest update, NTR Kathanayakudu will have early morning shows in Andhra Pradesh. The film premieres in USA on 8th June.
