Currently Anasuya Bharadwaj is busy in her upcoming movie Kathanam, being directed by Satish. Recently she interacted with media during the press meet of Kathanam and opened up about her role. She said, “After the first look, many people thought that I am playing a cop in this upcoming film too. I just want to clarify that I will be seen playing the role of an associate director in this film which is completely different from my earlier released movie Kshanam.”
Anasuya Bharadwaj also said that as she didn’t understand the meaning of Kathanam . The actress thanked the producer and director who her opportunity to act in this film.
Anasuya Bharadwaj further said, “ In my carrier, I have done many TV shows and anchoring as well, but I don’t know whether a movies is going to be a hit or a flop. But I believe in myself and I put my efforts in the film or show.”
Anasuya Bharadwaj was also asked about her role in Vijay Deverakonda’s production venture, she said that she would be seen playing a key role. According to her, she will make her screen presence in non glamorous avatar. She added, “It is not a glamorous role with intimate or exposing scenes.”
Tarun Bhascker, Director of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ are on the board to play the lead role in Vijay Deverakonda’s production venture.
Apart from these movies, Anasuya Bharadwaj will also be seen in upcoming movie Yatra.
Anasuya Bharadwaj has received IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress in Female in Telugu in 2017 for her role in the movie Kshanam. She also received SIIMA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2017 for her role in the movie Kshanam.
