Sri Bharat is a grandson of senior Telugu Desam Party leader and former Visakhapatnam MP and founder of Gitam Group of Institutions M V V S Murthy who tied the knot with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s younger daughter Tejaswini in 2013.
During 2014 elections, Sri Bharat campaigned for his father-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna in Hindupur assembly segment.
On several occasion Bharat has expressed his interest in contesting as an MP from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency and finally he has got the acceptance from the high Command.
With the strong support from his grandfather M V V S Murthy and his father-in-law Balakrishna, Sri Bharat is said to be confident of winning the seat.
Already Nandamuri Balakrishna’s first son-in-law and Nara Brahmini’s husband Nara Lokesh is into politics. Now his second son-in-law Sri Bharat is keen on contesting from Vishakapatnam Parliament.
