Earlier the movie Disco Raja was supposed to go on the floors in the month of December but due to unknown reasons, the makers postponed the launch of the film. Now finally Disco Raja will be launched on the occasion of republic Day.
It is heard that Ravi Teja will be seen playing dual roles, a father and a son, in this breezy entertainer. RX100 fame Payal Rajput, Priyanka Jawalkar of Taxiwaala and Nabha Natesh are on the board to play the female lead roles. SS Thaman will render the tune for Mass Maharaja starrer.
Ravi Teja was last seen in Srinu Vaitla’s directorial venture Amar Akbar Anthony. It was a comedy thriller film dire which features Ravi Teja in a triple role for the first time in his career. Goa beauty Ileana D Cruz played the female lead role. The actress made her comeback in Telugu film industry after a long gap of 6 years with this film. Amar Akbar Anthony was produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under their banner Mythri Movie Makers. But unfortunately the movie was turned out disaster at the box office.
In the year 2008 Vi Anand joined director AR Murugadoss as an assistant director and later he made his directorial debut with Hrudayam Ekkada Unnadi starring Krishna Madhav, Samskruty, Anusha, which was released in 2014. Now he is getting ready to helm a movie for Ravi Teja
