This Puja was attended by TASC Advisory Council members, Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, representatives from various national and local Telugu organizations, volunteers, members and well wishers. Butchi Reddy Yalamuri, the president for 2019 thanked everyone for being there on this auspicious occasion, supporting and making it a memorable event for the entire team. He introduced the 2019 Executive Committee and has requested the guests to provide their continued support for TASC.
Butchi Reddy briefed the activities planned for the current year. Some of the key programs included are TASC Kids programs, Community services in USA and India (AP & Telangana states), Women empowerment, community support, Telugu literature, Women and Men sports including throwball, volley ball, hiking. Ugadi event in the month of April, Star Night, TASC Picnic and Diwali celebrations. The secretary Rao Kalvakota, treasurer Ramesh Sanniboyina, past president Jaipal Samula and EC members Nagaraja and Venugopal addressed the attendees and thanked them for showing their support with their presence.
Everyone wished good luck to the 2019 EC team – Butchi Reddy Yalamuri (President), Rao Kalvakota (Secretary), Ramesh Sanniboyina (Treasurer), Ramakrishna Reddy Seelam (President-Elect), Jaipal Reddy Samula (Past President), Venugopal Gurram (EC Member) and Nagaraja G Emagowda (EC Member).
The puja event was very well attended by the community leaders from NATA, NATS, TANA, ATA, TATA, TDF and TGANA. Everyone that graced the occasion wished the team good luck for a successful year. Like every year, this year also Sri Gummadi Dharma Reddy garu has given the first donation check to the team. Shanmukh Donepudi and Pardha became life members at the inaugural puja. The EC team thanked Pundit Samavedula garu and his team for conducting a beautiful puja/archana and blessing the guests, also thanked DOSA PLACE for providing delicious food which was served to the guests along with the other food items prepared by TASC women volunteers. Colorful 2019-year Telugu Calendar with LA timings was released and distributed.
