iSmart Shankar Gang: Ram Pothineni with Puri Jagnnadh and Charmee

We have already reported that young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni has joined hands with Puri Jagannadh for an upcoming film which has been titled as ‘iSmart Shankar’. Finally the upcoming movie ‘iSmart Shankar’ has been launched today with formal pooja ceremony. The regular shoot will be commenced from tomorrow in Hyderabad. It is heard that upcoming drama is a mass entertainer. Now the pic of iSmart Shankar Gang is going viral on social media that features Ram Pothineni with Puri Jagnnadh and Charmee Kaur.

The producer Charmme Kaur clapped the sound board whereas ‘Sravanthi’ Ravi Kishore switched on the camera. The first scene is shot on Ram Pothineni.

Mani Sharma is on the board to render the tune. The makers are planning to rope a Telugu girl to play the female lead role. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Puneeth Issar, Satya Dev and others in supporting roles.

‘iSmart Shankar’ is jointly bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banners of  Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies banner in association with Puri Connects. The makers are planning to release the movie in the month of May.

Ram Pothineni, the nephew of the film producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, made his film debut in 2006 with the masala movie Devadasu, which became a blockbuster at the box office. The actor won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for his performance in the film.  His popular movies are Ready, Maska, Kandireega, Pandaga Chesko, Nenu Sailaja, and Hello Guru Prema Kosame.

 Ram Pothineni was last seen in Hello Guru Prema Kosame, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and bankrolled by Dil Raju in which Anupama Parameswaran and Pranitha Subhash played the female leads.

 On the otherside, Puri Jagannadh’s previous offering Mehbooba was disaster at the box office. He desperately needs a super hit movie because after Temper in 2015, he did not deliver any hit movie.
