KCR is all set to contest in the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls for making his Son KTR next Chief Minister of Telangana and also to play a key role in the national politics.
In a major jolt to Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, KCR is planning to contest from Nalgonda. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy who lost the assembly in the recent elections has eyed on the Nalgonda parliament seat.
KCR has tasted the success several times in the parliament elections. He had represented Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar and Medak by winning the elections for three consecutive terms.
In 2004, KCR was elected from Karimnagar and later Mahabubnagar and Medak in 2006-08 by-elections. He has a good track record in the Lok Sabha elections is now planning to bag as many as 16 Lok Sabha seats.
Winning the Nalgonda seat is a matter of prestige for TRS . Recently at the Nalgonda meeting, KCR has promised that he would adopt Nalgonda and ensure its development. KCR also promised to build a large number of two bedrooms houses for the poor people. He said, “ In the last 20 years there has been no development in Nalgonda if You continue to vote for those you have been voting, it will continue to be in such a way. I promise you development just like in my constituency Gajwel, if you vote for TRS Candidate.”
KCR can also contest from Medak but his master plan is to restrict his nephew T Harish Rao to Medak which make a clear way to his son KTR to become the Chief Minister of state.
