Kiara Advani said, “I don’t know about others but I never faced Casting Couch in the film Industry. I won’t really entertain such type of requests and all this is between two people. The actress further added, “We don’t have to give it so much importance, without knowing about it completely.”
It seems Kiara Advani doesn’t want any controversy. The actress further said, “We never know that who is telling the truth or who is lying, but these kind of things shouldn’t exist in Film Industry.”
Number of actresses from South Indian film Industry and Hindi film Industry have already shared their casting couch/ harassment stories on social media. From Malayalam star Parvathy to Aishwarya Rajesh, many heroines have admitted that the ‘adjustment’ issue is real and it is prevalent in film industries across the country.
Punjabi kudi Rakul Preet Singh has always held that she hasn’t faced any such experience. The actress was recently under fire for saying that the casting couch doesn’t exist in the Telugu film industry. It is known news that Sri Reddy is also fighting against the casting couch.
Kiara Advani is currently waiting for the release of her second Telugu film Vinaya Vidheya Rama, in which she is playing the love interest of Ram Charan. Directed by Boyapati Srinu and is produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment. Kiara Advani is also active in Bollywood and currently romancing wit Padmaavat fame star Shahid Kapoor in upcoming drama Kabir Singh, which is being directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
