Padmaavat fame Shahid Kapoor is playing the lead role in Kabir Singh. Shooting of the upcoming Hindi remake of the 2017 blockbuster Telugu movie Arjun Reddy, is going on at brisk pace. Several photos and videos of the Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani have cropped up on the internet.
In leaked photos, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are seen walking beside a pool in a park and talking on the roof as well as riding on a bike. While Shahid Kapoor was seen wearing a grey tee, brown jacket and denim jeans, Kiara Advani wore a pastel peach coloured salwar kameez with her hair neatly tied to a low ponytail with minimum makeup.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who helmed the Telugu film ‘Arjun Reddy’ starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey, is also directing the Hindi version of it. Kiara Advani is reprising the role of Preethi, essayed by Shalini Pandey in the origin version.
Vijay Deverakonda starrer Arjun Reddy was a massive hit at the Telugu box office. According to various reports, Arjun Reddy was partially inspired by Sandeep Vanga’s life as a physiotherapy student who went a self-destructive path after the marriage of his girlfriend. Shahid Kapoor will be seeb sporting four different looks in the film as it will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi and Mussourie.
Kiara Advani made her Telugu debut with Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu, directed by Koratala Siva, which was blockbuster at the box office. The actress was last seen in recently released action and romantic entertainer Vinaya Vidheya Rama starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan, which is running successfully at the box office.
