Mahesh Babu – The Highway Mafia?

Recently during the media interaction, author Suchitra Rao has said that she wants to see  Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu playing the lead role if her book, The Highway Mafia, based on cattle trafficking, is made into a feature film. She also said, “I want Vijay for Tamil Version, Yash for the Kannada version and Sushanth Singh Rajput for Bollywood version.”

Suchitra Rao further said, “I am in early stages of making ‘The Highway Mafia’ into a film. I have already contacted few production houses and they are agreed to bankroll the movie. So I am in the process of finding an creative director.”

From organised crimes to cattle trafficking, Suchitra Rao answered all questions and other controversial matters in  detailed manner.  She said, ”When I announced the  title ‘The Highway Mafia’ ,there was lot of excitement to find out what the Title meant, quite a bit of them expected it to be a highway robbery, bank robbery that involves the transportation etc. As the book revolved around ‘Cattle Trafficking’ , majority felt it was a creative & unique title. It revolves around young businessman Arjun and Sana.

Mahesh Babu enjoys an immense fan following not only in the South Indian film industry but is also a household name nationwide.

Mahesh Babu was also recently featured in Top 10 most Handsome man in the world list giving a tough competition to all the actors in B-Town.

Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu is one of the most followed South Indian Superstars with a combined following of over 14 million leaving behind biggies like Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Baahubali Star Rana Daggubati, Allu Sirish, amongst others. Currently he is busy in his upcoming movie Maharshi, which is being helmed by Vamsi Paidiapally. Let’s see whether Mahesh Babu will give nod if The Highway Mafia, based on cattle trafficking will be made in Telugu.
