During the release on Shankar’s directorial venture 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, when Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli sent his wishes for the success of the movie, Rajini’s fans requested Rajamouli to make a movie with their favourite star. It has also come out that once again Rajinikanth is planning to collaborate with Karthik Subbaraj for a project.
On the other side, currently Rajamouli is also busy in his upcoming movie RRR, in which Ram Charan and Jr NTR are playing the lead role. Very soon the official announcement regarding it’s second shoot schedule will be made.
Rajamouli is also committed to make a movie with Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is currently busy in his ongoing project Maharshi. Currently the actor is in Dubai and enjoying holidays.
In 2018, Rajinikanth had delivered two movies – Kaala and 2.0. Both the movies turned out to be blockbusters at the box office, and he quickly signed a film Petta with Karthik Subbaraj, which is gearing up for grand release on the occasion of Pongal.
Petta is all about a hostel warden called Kaali. Trisha Krishnan is playing the female lead. Apart from the lead pair, the film has stars like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, and Vijay Sethupathi.
